Theodore is absolutely tiny the same size as my thumbnail!

       

Toby the goby is tiny too - and very difficult to feed!

   

I have also said goodbye to my two corys, albi and I never named the other one! They were getting to all the food first and my frogs were suffering. I will also soon be trading my rummynose tetras for I hope a female bristlenose, so dyson will stop beating up my frogs! Poor things.

     

Clipper and He were in a divided 30l tank. I think the cycle broke down and that allowed them to get fin rot. Clipper had it worse yet he got over it in a night. Knuckles didn't have much at all but I still treated him for it using Melafix, which I've since learnt not to use on Bettas. But it was too late, Melafix is thought to affect the labyrinth organ which Bettas use to breathe air from the surface.
I moved him to a smaller tank so he could have clean water every three days and be treated with salt. His fins were fine but I could tell he was having problems breathing he was gulping at the surface constantly. I came upstairs one night and he was lying on the floor of the tank. Getting him out of the tank was one of the most horrible things i've had to do so far with my fish. Taking out a dead tetra or two is completely different to a fish that recognises when your in the room and swims up to you for some attention.

He's buried in Gregs garden, I couldn't bear to flush him.

From what i've since read the theory on Melafix is completely unproven some people say its fine to use others don't, there is another version called bettafix which is more dilute but thats rarely in pet shops in the UK. From now on I wont be using Melafix.

Am working day and night on my final year project, I'm going mad(er)!

There is nothing exciting going on! My frogs have started singing!! I didn't realise what was happening until I realised the noise was coming from the fish tank! They were really getting into it this afternoon!!

This made my morning!

What exciting things have happened over the past few weeks!?

We went to visit my cousin and her new baby, Elora.

I ate a LOT of food over christmas! On Christmas Day we had Beef Wellington, which was amazing. On Boxing Day we had Venison and the day after we finished off the rest of the Wellington. I drove back to kent on the 27th for Gregs birthday and had another roast then too!!

We went mental with presents this year, the aftermath was a sight to behold!

My christmas cake this year was also pretty awesome! :D I melted Fox's Glacier mints and poured them over a rolling pin so that they made cool shapes! :D

       

I have a new pair of Emu boots! :D They're shorter than the last ones and blck, but as my old ones were falling apart my mum bought me a new pair! I've worn the old ones every day for over a year!! :S

This year I had lots of random little presents which was awesome but bad at the same time, as I now have SO many new things to play with! How am I supposed to get any work done!?

I have an xbox 360 gold subscription for 12 months and Call of Duty which I suck at!Mini ninjas for ps3 (I was supposed to be getting a ps3 for chirstmas but my dad got it instead - long story! He'll soon tire of being rubbish at it and it'll be mineeee!)The new zelda game for the DS,Perfume and a necklace with my name on it,Another external harddrive, my 5th! Its a good one though so hopefully it'll last!I also received a different series of voyager from family friends!
Which means that, with the addition of the 4 series of battlestar galactica Greg has lent me, and the entire 10 series of stargate sg-1 Greg bought me for Christmas I also now have another 4 series of voyager to watch! And the final series of heroes!!

I made a Triumph Herald Cake for Gregs birthday, it could have been so much better but it looked good, and tasted even better!!

The windscreen is made from melted fox mints, but it snapped when I cut it! :(

           

And for new year?

For my sanity's sake I did nothing! Phew!

This year we have a very thin tree :( the livingroom doesn't feel very
christmassy this year I suppose because normally the tree is so big
you can't actually get in the room.

Still I shall fix this by covering everything in super tacky tinsel
when my mums not looking :)

             

Now either Rosie is very strong, or its a cheap heater. I'd rather pay £15 for one that works - wouldn't you!?

Not to worry though, I should have my dividers tomorrow and I can fill up the new tank with the cycled water from my water change on the 60l tomorrow :D All I need is gubbins for the filter :)

I bought some super fine white sand, its like clouds but in water!

When I get my tank dividers for the 30l knuckles and clipper are going in there and little Rosie is going in the 60l. :)

And here is little Rosie, my first female. Shes only about an in and a half. I hope to breed her with clipper in a few months :)
